As those of you who undertake Postal Deliveries will be more than aware, dangerous dogs are a constant threat to the health & safety of our members out on the streets. Every year around 6000 Royal Mail staff are attacked by dogs whilst undertaking their delivery role. The legislation controlling many aspects of dog ownership are outdated and in need of reform. As part of the CWU’s ongoing campaign to ‘Bite-Back’ against the threat posed primarily by irresponsible dog owners we ask you to support the petition below by clicking the link and registering on the site.
The Bradford & District Amalgamated Branch of the Communication Workers Union was formed in 1992 when the Branches in Bradford, Halifax and Huddersfield and the Aire Valley amalgamated.
